Correct paddle length

Canoe paddle – sit or kneel down in the boat, put the paddle with its handle on the bottom and the blade should begin at your eye level. For inflatable boats, add the thickness of the inflated bottom.

Dragon paddle – maximum length – the paddle should end three fingers under your armpit.

Dragon paddle – minimum length – sit on a bench, put the paddle next to you and your fingers should clench the paddle handle comfortably.

Kayak paddle

the picture shows the correct hold of the paddle, the elbows form a right angle. The length is determined by the type of the kayak in use and the paddling method. Generally, the length can be determined by the following chart:
